Principal
Coleg Cambria
As your young person heads off to college for the first time, both of your lives are going to change, as are the ways they’re going to need you. The main thing is they’ll still need you. We at Coleg Cambria are going to be supporting your child to gain the right skills and qualifications to prepare them for life after college, but it’s you they’ll turn to in order to support their personal growth, independence and stability.
Learning to navigate this new part of their life can be scary and challenging, for you as well as them, which is why we’re here to support both you and your child.
At Coleg Cambria your child will be encouraged to reach their full potential, increasing their confidence and providing them with real experiences to ensure when they leave they are ready for their next step. Students study in excellent facilities, using the latest technology and are taught by expert staff, who will give them the tools they need for either higher education, an apprenticeship or a great career.
Each student will also be supported with a personal tutor to ensure they stay on track to succeed and will receive regular one to one tutorials. Our relationship with students includes you as their parent or guardian, so feel free to contact their personal tutor if you have any concerns or queries relating to your child’s progress in college. We’ll also be regularly communicating with you via reports and parents evenings to keep you informed of their progress.
Your child’s safety and welfare is our top priority, which is why we’re proud to say we go above and beyond when it comes to our safeguarding policy. We not only adhere to government guidance, we also have a dedicated safeguarding team at Coleg Cambria.
You or your child can contact the team whenever you need us on 0300 30 30 009. It’s important to us that every student feels safe, listened to, respected and happy.
